l just found l am pregnant.l own 4 guinea pigs, a very proud owner!However, l am tryin to find out if having my piggies will be harmful to my newborn baby.Anyone heard anything about this?

It is OK to have guinea pigs in the same house as your baby. Make sure the guinea pigs continue to receive your attention. If you stop giving attention they will get jealous but they will not hurt the baby.

Nope dearie, you are safe. Your baby will be just fine around them. Just keep your cage clean and sanitary and give your guinea pigs baths and you will be fine. :)

no I do not think so I think just a cat is bad b/c of the litter training the baby is can get sick from it.

Of course they aren't. Keep your piggies, maybe your new one will grow up to love too. He/she could get into cavy showing!

I wouldnt think that they would be. I cant imagine that. Just make sure the baby isnt in its cage!!!. Also i would ask your doctor just to make sure.
