l got two guinea pigs the other day and i'm not really sure if they will survive because l do not really know much about what they like and need.
l have food from the pet shop for them and a cage in my yard. I am scared they will get cold though. The box is made from both wood and certain parts are wire to let air in and out.
Anything l should know about them which will help them in their survival?
Thanks a lot.

How can i care for two guinea pigs

guinea pigs can take alot of work. u should get a real cage from the pet stores. but be sure that it is NOT one that has a wire bottom because that will hurt their feet. u should get bedding for it & i recommend that u cover the bottom of the cage with newspaper before hand because it will make it easier to clean, (you should change the bedding weekly) also their ''nails'' & teeth grow continuously. so u should buy a nail cipper for them & clip thier nails when the need arises. & to keep their teeth healthy u should give them carrots along with their food pellets. also a few pieces of lettuce can help them get the nutrients they need.

you can get a heat lamp. but a small one to only use for half the cage. also guinea pigs need vitamin c their bodies do not make it. ohh n also something they can chew on because their teeth get really long. they have chew toy things for guinea pigs. change their water often bc they do not like stale water

How can i care for two guinea pigs

First of all bring the poor things inside!
Second of all it is incredibly irresponsible to buy a pet that ''you know nothing about like what they like and need''. Next time plz do research, guinea pigs need A LOT of care.
Maybe this will help you:
